In the near future IntNSA Europe wants to play an important role in developing European guidelines for interprofessional cooperation in addictions treatment options in cooperation with other European professionals addictions.

Including the role of the addictions nurse on different competency levels. Minimal quality guidelines are necessary to guarantee good quality of care. Besides that the development of approved addictions education in diverse nursing training schools is of utmost importance. So in five years from now we can proudly present the European CARN and CARN-AP, an European Certified Addictions Registered Nursing and Advanced Nursing based on the European Addictions Nursing Curriculum (Standards of Additions Nursing).
